I’ve known both Ben and Caroline for years and was delighted when they asked me to photograph their wedding. They got married in The Church Of St. James in a village called Dry Doddington, a church that boasts a greater lean than the Tower of Pisa! Speaking to the vicar in advance of the service I was shown that all of the internal walls of the church have hair line strips of glass stuck to them in key areas – if the glass cracks then you know the walls are on the move.
The service was extremely intimate and personalised with readings from the two girls that Caroline used to look after when nannying and with music performed by a close friend on guitar.
Following the service, all guests moved on to the reception which was held nearby on some friend’s land. Following a great meal guests had entertainment laid on with a bucking bronco which provided an almost endless supply of amusing shots.
